Michael Anthony "Mike" Papineau, 68 of Providence passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Mike was born on May 18, 1957 to the late Leroy and Helen Papineau.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son Paul Michael Ipock, his sister Helen Irene Hook.

Survivors include daughter Trinity Norris (James) of Dawson Springs; 2 sons Bobby Ipock of Clay, Clifford Prowell of Louisville; 2 brothers John Papineau of Providence, Leroy "Gizmo" Papineau of Wheatcroft; grandchildren P.J. Ipock, Cara Smith, Joseph Utley; great-grandchildren Jaxson and Bradley.

Cremation was chosen.  There will be no services at this time.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
