Michael Lee Whitsell 59, of Clay, KY passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. He was a Mechanical Engineer and had worked for TVA. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay, KY. He was survived by his wife of 38 years Jeannie Jo Whitsell of Clay, KY., 2 sons Chad Whitsell and his wife Dawn of Sebree, KY., Scott Whitsell and his wife Christina of Slaughters, KY., 2 sisters Debbie Wilson of Mt. Vernon, IL., and Julie Lewis of Madisonville, KY., 2 brothers Mark Whitsell of Augusta, GA and Jerry Whitsell of Providence, KY. 4 Grandchildren Jenna, Lily, Halle, and Rex Whitsell. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 16, 2012 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Clay, KY, with Bro. Bob White officiating and burial to follow in New Clay Cemetery in Clay, KY. Visitation will be Friday 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY and Saturday 10:00 AM til service time at First Baptist Church in Clay, KY.
