Patricia Nell Simpson, 81 of Clay passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs.

Pat was born on October 9, 1939 in Detroit, MI to the late Dewey and Nellie Daniel.

She was employed at the pants factory in Sturgis and was also at one time owner and operator of Clay Flower Shop where she enjoyed being a floral designer.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Simpson in 2006.

Survivors include 2 sons Jerry Simpson of Madisonville and Danny Key of Nebo and 1 daughter Debbie Strader of Madisonville, 2 brothers Gary Daniel of Clay and Bobby Daniel of Earlington, 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and niece and nephews.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.  Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.  Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
