Patricia Cummings Schutz

Patricia C. Schutz, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, born in 1935 has gone to be with the Lord at the age of 91 on October 5, 2026 at Redbanks Nursing Home, Henderson, KY.

We lovingly referred to her as Mom, Pat, Mama Llama, Pat the Bat, Perpendicular Patty, Granny, Gran Gran, GG Funkmeister (all by grandkids) and the most endearing term which the amazing caregivers called her – Pat Pat.

She set an example of her love for the Lord and was always reading scripture, even while she was at Redbanks. She was very loved by the caregivers and staff, always waving, blowing kisses and offering hugs – she even made Prom Queen!

She has left behind 3 daughters, Susan (Gelep) Smith (Michael), Betsy (Gelep) Ray (Keith), Coni Gelep (Beck), grandchildren Nikolas Vierkant, Lawton Vierkant, Amanda Littlepage (Matt), Emily Hasty (Phillip), Aaron Golday, Jordan Gelep (Emily), great grandchildren, Chandler Littlepage, Parker Littlepage, Brinnley Hasty, Holland Hasty, Sophie Golday, Coraline Gelep and Cecilia Gelep.

She will be cremated and there will be a private celebration of life at a later date. Donations, cards, etc. can be sent to Henderson Christian Community Outreach in honor of mom.
