Patsy "Patty" Evelyn Hackney, 74 of Slaughters passed away Friday October 24, 2025 at her home.  Patsy was born in Calhoun, KY on September 20, 1951 to the late Leonard and Louise Lindsey.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by 1 sister Tresia Parris, 2 brothers Larry Lindsey and Tony Lindsey.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years Robert "Cobbo" Hackney of Slaughters; daughter Susan LaMastus (Richard) of Slaughters; son Robert "Bo" Hackney, III (Ashley) of Dixon; sister Jeanne Hanner (Ricky) of Slaughters; grandchildren Patrick Miller (Kewal), Lindsey Laffoon (Alex), Madelyn Jones (Ty), Kate Hackney; great-grandchildren Ryan Miller, Brantley Laffoon, and Paisley LaMastus.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 27, 2025 at Vanover Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Brother Bobby Sellers officiating. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
