Phillip Edwin Fritz, 81, of Providence, KY passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his home.

Phillip was born to the late George and Dorothy Fritz on March 16, 1937 in Providence.

He attended Providence General Baptist Church.  Phillip was a retired mechanic and had worked at several mining companies in the Hopkins county area.  He very much enjoyed watching Sprint Car and NASCAR races.

He is preceded in death by his wife Rose in 2017 and his daughter Carol in 2015.

Survivors include 1 son Greg Fritz of Providence 1 granddaughter Emily Caudill of Clay.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4  5:00 PM til service time at the funeral home.
