Reva Joyce "Gardner" Shoulders, 82, of Evansville, formerly of Dixon, Ky., was received by the Lord Friday, February 20, 2015. She was born March, 3 1932 to Bessie and William Gardner. One of her fondest memories growing up was playing in the rural country side with her seven brothers and two sisters. She is preceded by her husband William O. Shoulders. They welcomed many into their lives especially those in times of need. Her passion was her faith and was a long-time member of Waggoner General Baptist Church. Surviving are her son Stephen Shoulders, his wife Cynthia, two grand-children Chad and Abbi, brothers; Jerry Gardner of La Port IN, David Gardner of Louisville, KY, Darrell Gardner of Henderson, KY, Roger Gardner of Florida, Paul Gardner of Evansville, IN, Malcom Gardner of Owensboro, KY, Terry Gardner of Lexington, KY and sister Ann Gardner Vessels of Owensboro, KY. She is also survived by her extended in-law family who loved her very dearly. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 24, 2015 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY., with Bro. Darrell Dukes officiating and burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY. Visitation will be Monday February 23, 2015 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM til service time at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY.
