Robert Stillwell Truax 82, of Clay, KY passed away Saturday August 31, 2013 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley in 2012 and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a a member of Pentecostal Prayer Chapel in Providence, KY. He is survived by 1 daughter Luwana Williams of Hudson, FL. and 1 Son Otis Truax Pleasant View, TN., 4 Step Daughters Ann Wolney of Louisville, KY., Shirley Nelson of Clay, KY.,  Sarah Frost of Gamilla, KY., and Cindy Waites of Columbus, GA.. 2 Step-sons William Quinsberry of Mobile, AL and Andy Hearn of Clay, KY.. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday September 4, 2013 1;00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY. with Bro. Darrel Gates officiating and burial to follow in Truax Family Cemetery in Clay, KY. Friends may call Wednesday 10:30 Am til service time at the funeral home.
