Ronnie Owen Gipson, 59 of Wethersfield, formerly of Wheatcroft, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, (December 25, 2024) at home. Mr. Gipson was born July 1, 1965, in Madisonville, Kentucky a son of the late Jessie Owen Gipson and Elois Faye (McVay) Gipson Gamblin. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his step-parents, Diane Gipson and Bill Gamblin; son, Kevin Gipson; grandchildren, Bethany and Shakobe Cornell; siblings, Mitsy Gipson, Steve Gamblin, and Etna Gamblin. He deeply loved his family and loved spending time with his grand kids. He was a truck driver off and on for 20 years and liked to trade and barter. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, and had a wonderful sense of humor, often joking around with family and friends. Ronnie will be remembered as a good husband and father. Surviving are his wife, Brenda (Thompson) Gipson of Wethersfield; children, Jessica Williams of Clay, Kentucky, Matt and Jamie Galbraith of Nortonville, Kentucky, Ronnie and Katie Gipson of Eddyville, Kentucky, Chris and Brooke Gipson of Crossville, Illinois, Jeffrey Thompson of Madisonville, Kentucky, Mickey Gipson of White Plains, Kentucky, Andrew Gipson of Wethersfield; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Roger and Debi Hogan of Varysburg, Billy Gipson of Nortonville, Kentucky, Goble and Lisa Gipson of Madisonville, Kentucky, Jessica Simms of Nortonville, Kentucky, Bruce and Dolora Gipson of Nortonville, Kentucky, Jennifer and Justin Underwood of Morton Gap, Kentucky, Joe Gipson of Nortonville, Kentucky, Jessie and Jillian Gipson of Nortonville, Kentucky. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Ronnie on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Green Grove Cemetery, 258-398 Hillview Road in Providence, Kentucky.
