Obituary

Ruby Jean Heady 83 of Clay, KY passed away Friday November 25, 2011at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother devoted to her family. She was a member of Bordley Church of Christ in Bordley, KY. She was a member of Wheatcroft Eastern Star in Wheatcroft, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years James Doris Heady on January 7, 2011, 1 granddaughter Susan Sheffer in 2002, 4 Brothers Lewis, Luther, Willie, and Freemon Baker.
Survivors include 2 daughters Doris Jean Whitehead Martin of Sullivan, KY., Elaine Sheffer and her husband Larry of Corydon, KY 1 Son James David Heady and his wife Beth of Boxville, KY., 1 Brother Robert Alan Baker of Dallas, TX., 5 Grandchildren Rhonda Hancock of Zion, KY, Jenni Sheffer Utley of Henderson, KY, Michelle Stevens of Shady Grove, KY, Raye Beth Kanipe of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Beverly Heady Willett of Las Vegas, Nevada, Several Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 28, 2011 2:00 Pm at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. James Cowan officiating, and burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.
Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home and Monday 9:00 AM til service time.
