Ruby Mae Carter 66, of Clay, KY., passed away Sunday July 1, 2018 at her home.

Ruby was born August 24, 1951 to Robert and Ida Stone who both preceded her in death. She worked at Carhartt in Providence for over 25 years. She was also preceded in death by her 3 brothers Roger, Robert and Jackie Stone.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years Michael "Zeke" Carter of Clay, KY., 1 step Daughter Jennifer Watkins of Greenville, KY., 4 sisters Lois Daughtery, Alice Moore, and Lisa Beckner all of Clay, KY., and Irene Langston of Providence, KY., 1 Step Grand Daughter Lexie.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 1:00 Pm at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Ronnie Gibson officiating and burial to follow in New Clay Cemetery in Clay, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
