Sherry Ruth Cowan, 70 of Wheatcroft passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Center in Henderson under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

Sherry was born in Wheatcroft on May 10, 1954 to Brackett and Emma Stone Hinton, she was a member of Redeeming Love General Baptist Church in Clay.

She is preceded in death by her father Brackett Hinton and her husband Will Dana Cowan in 2010.

Survivors include 2 Daughters Amy Wright (Chad) of Clay and Erica Hanner (Kyle) of Madisonville, KY., Mother Emma Hinton of Wheatcroft, KY., Sister- June Hopper (Ronnie) of Wheatcroft, KY., Brother Bob Hinton (Sandy) of Clay, KY., Half-sister Lou Fowler of Wheatcroft, KY and half brother Jim Hinton of Clay, KY 2 Grandchildren Will Wright and Ryan Hanner.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Vanover Funeral Home with Brother Dale Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery in Wheatcroft.  Visitation will be Friday from 9AM till service time.
