Sue Emma Hughes, 85, of Clay, KY passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Lucy Smith King Center in Henderson, KY.

She was a rural mail carrier for the United State Postal Service for 30 years.

She was a lifelong member of the First General Baptist Church in Clay, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Brian Hughes in 1999.

Survivors include 4 daughters Carol Ann Jones of Walla Walla, Washington Connie Coffman of Clay, KY Patricia Martin of Providence, KY and Ellen Dishman of Hendersonville, North Carolina  10 Grandchildren 18 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the First General Baptist Church in Clay, KY with Bro. Mike Putman officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY and on Thursday from 9:00 AM til service time at the church.
