Thomas Edward Herron, 70, of Clay, KY passed away Friday, October 26, 2018.

Thomas was born October 26, 1948 to the late George and Emma Herron in Providence.  He was in the United States Air Force.  While he was in the Air Force he was in the Korean and Vietnam wars.  He was also a coal miner.  He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Clay and Second Commander of VFW in Providence

Survivors include his wife Vickie Herron of Clay, 1 step-daughter Amanda Vincent of Hartford, 2 step-sons Rondall Rolley (Glenda) of Greenville and  Daniel Rolley (Vanessa) of Drakesboro 3 grandchildren local cousins Suzette Mooney (Ronnie), Bena Travis (Phil) and Kerry DeHaven (Jennifer) and several other cousins.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Mike Putman officiating.  Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the funeral home and Monday 8:00 AM til service time.
