Thomas Lee Stone, 87 of Salem formerly of Clay passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at his home.

Thomas was born in Clay on July 8, 1936 to the late Wiley Veston and Modest Stone.

He was a retired coal miner and an avid fan of UK basketball and football.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Wilma and 3 sons Mark Stone, Tommy Stone and Mann Stone.

Survivors include 2 daughters Renona Menser, Tracy Mitchell, 1 brother David Stone all of Salem, 6 grandchildren Ashley Dawn Mitchell, Samantha Nicole Latham, Jon David Stone, Mark Anthony Stone, Joey Lee Stone, Michael Alan Stone and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.  Burial will be Green Grove Cemetery in Providence.  Visitation will be Friday 11:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
