Tom Lincoln Swaney's Obituary
Tom L. Swaney 80, of Clay, KY passed away Thursday February 9, 2012 9:40 AM at Western Kentucky Veteran's Center in Hanson, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn in 2000. He was an Army Korean war Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Billy G. Mitchell American Legion Post 289 in Clay, KY. Before retirement he worked at Mitchell Bros. Seed.
Survivors include 2 daughters Susan Rich and her husband Larry of Clay, KY and Sara Davis of Clay, KY. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 11, 2012, 2:30 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Sam Beeney officiating and burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery near Clay, KY., where the American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Western Kentucky Veteran's Center Activities Department, 926 Veterans Drive, Hanson, KY 42413
