Velma Jean Henderson, 89 of Evansville passed away at St. Vincents Hopsital in Evansville, IN on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Jean was born on July 1, 1931 in Clay to the late Charles Marlin and Myrtle Elizabeth Hanor.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Glenwood and her son Ronald.

Survivors include 2 grandchildren Catrinia Payne (Paul) of Naperville, IL and Ronald G. Henderson (Valerie) of Hampshire, IL, a sister Sharon Clark (Jerry) of Clay, 4 brothers David Hanor of Morganfield, Donny Hanor of Marion and Frank Hanor (Cecilia) and Mike Hanor both of Clay and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home with Brother Dale Williams officiating.  Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.

Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
