Virginia Ruth Best, 93, of Clay, KY passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Clay, KY She was a clerk for the Federal Government in Fort Knox, KY for several years. She is preceded in death by her husband Tabor Best in 2001. Survivors include 1 Niece Marianne Hornburg of New Zealand 1 Nephew Bill Goodman of Saddleback Valley, California. Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 9, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Clay, KY with Bro. James Taylor and Bro. Jimmy Sigler officiating, Burial was in Hardin Memorial Park Cemetery in Elizabethtown, KY.  Visitation was on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Clay from 5:00 Pm til 8:00 PM Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
