Virginia Agnes Shields, 90, of Sturgis, KY passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her daughter's home. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, KY. She is survived by her husband of 70 years W. Troy Shields of Sturgis, KY 3 Daughters Sandra Germane of Sturgis, KY Connie James of Huntsville, AL Reba Sparks of Wesmoreland, TN  3 Grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Randy Farthing and Bro. Dale Williams will be officiating.  Burial will be in Sullivan Community Cemetery in Sullivan, KY.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, 2016 1:00 PM til service time at Vanover Funeral Home.
