Wells Bruce Cowan, 84 of Clay passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

Bruce was born in Sullivan on January 9, 1936 to the late Everett and Nadine Cowan.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay.  He retired from Alcoa.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Faunda in 2009.

Survivors include 3 daughters Terri Lovan (Russell) of Slaughters, Cindy Collins (Steve) of Clay and Lisa Lossner (Alan) of Slaughters, 1 sister Polly Graham of Henderson, 8 grandchildren Christy Atwell (Jake), Amibeth Blair (Jamison) Laura McClain (Brandon), Jesse Collins (Megan), Jeremy Collins (Rachel), Jered Collins (Hannah), Leah Pritchett (Jon) and Sarah Sherwood (Caleb) 12 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rock Springs Cemetery, c/o Dennis Williams, 3414 State Route 2837, Clay, KY 42404.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
