Eloise Gordon (Bridwell) Duncan

Eloise Gordon Bridwell Duncan, 93 of Dixon passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.  Eloise was born on July 22, 1930 in Union County to the late William and Myra Bridwell. She was a bus driver for Webster County Board of Education for 52 years. She was also a member of Tilden General Baptist Church for over 60 years.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Rudy in 1996, 2 brothers William Casey Bridwell and Glenn Darrell Bridwell, grandson Bryce Duncan and great grandson Connor Whitledge. 

Survivors include 1 daughter Janet Woodring(Mark), 3 sons Ronnie Duncan, Larry Duncan(Yolonda), and Stephen Duncan(Sherry) all of Dixon, 11 grandchildren Justin Duncan(Yisel), Kristin Duncan, Kandace Ramsey(Tyler), Larra Deneen(Trevor), Chandy Melton(Matt), Stephanie Stallins(Brad), Valerie Whitledge(DeWayne), Don Ferguson, Megan Harvey, Andrew Woodring(Rachel), and Clifford Woodring. 22 great grandchildren Arleina and Maxwell Duncan, Aiden and Duncan Ramsey, Eli and Cooper June Deneen, Dustin and Adison Melton, Austin Crick, Garner and Graice Stallins, Brookelyn, Brylee and Brayson Whitledge, Harper and Haddie Ferguson, John Luke Brittain, Jordyn Harvey, Tough Long, Wyatt, Flynn and Jonah Woodring.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Reverend David Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Slover Cemetery in Dixon.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM till service time on Friday at the funeral home.
