Etna Leroy Gamblin, 45 of Clay passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN. Etna was born in Madisonville to the late Billy and Eloys Gamblin.
He was a coal miner for over 15 years and was currently working as a mechanic at Warrior Coal. Etna loved wood working, shooting guns, and had a great passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Steve Gamblin in 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years Mona Gamblin, 1 step-daughter Danielle Phillips of Providence and 1 stepson R. J. Oliver of Clay, 4 sisters Anna Corbin(Richard) of Dawson Springs, Regina Gamblin of North Carolina, Nona Martin(Jeff) of Loris, South Carolina and Janie Lou Ferguson(Mitchell) of Dawson Springs, 3 brothers Ronnie Gibson(Brenda) of Warsaw, NY, Roger Hogan(Debbie) of Varysburg, NY and Billy Gamblin of North Carolina, 2 grandchildren Kaden and Jaxson Adamson and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home
with Bro. Mitchell Ferguson and Heath Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery in Clay. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
