James Richard Hasler, Jr., 67 of Marion passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah, KY.
Jim was born on March 12, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT to the late Rosemary Snow and James Richard Hasler Sr.
He was a Chemical Engineer and specialized in process design. He was involved in Boy Scouts of America most of his life. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully his entire life.
Survivors include his wife of forty-five years; Bridget Hasler of Marion, KY. He has one daughter; Patience Yvonne Hasler of Nashville, TN, and three sons: James Richard Hasler III (Jaime) of Riverside, CA, Phillip Wood Hasler (Aunnaley) of Louisville, KY, and Bryan Duran Hasler (Stephanie) of Nampa, ID. Five sisters Esther Swain, Bonnie Hasler, Mary Ann Gillispie all from Frankfort, KY, Karma Maples of Hampstead, NC, Sandy Fitzgerald (Boyce) of Lehi, UT, two brothers Sidney Hasler (Susan) of Wilsonville, OR, David Hasler (Holly) of Lexington, KY. Jim is blessed with eight grandchildren: James, Brooklyn, Charlie, Vivian, Genevieve, William, Hailey, and Elise.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 9:00 AM with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with President Patrick Wright officiating. Burial to take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Blackford, KY.
