Robert Farmer Obituary

Robert Earl Farmer, 70 was born November 4, 1949 lost his battle with cancer Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation in Morganfield.

He is preceded in death by his father James Averil Farmer and his mother Lorene Farmer. He is survived by 2 daughters Kelli Farmer of Olney, IL an Trisha Rigdon (Dennis) of Sturgis 3 grandsons Michael Oliver, Kaiden Ipock and Shane Rigdon  2 sisters Connie Bealmear of Morganfield and Naomi Gibson of Clay 1 brother Billy Farmer of TX and multiple nieces and nephews. He was a retired coal miner and an avid outdoorsman whose love for fishing landed him in Jamestown, KY for the past few years. He was also a dedicated Louisville Cardinals basketball fan. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. A special thank you to Rick Mills, the nurses at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab and St. Anthony’s Hospice for taking such good care of my father and guiding us during these emotional and trying times.
