Ruth Mildred Shoulders

Ruth Mildred Shoulders, 93 of Clay passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Shemwells Healthcare in Providence.

Ruth was born on December 19, 1928 in Dixon to the late Frank and Georgia Farmer.

At the time of her death she was the oldest living member of Redeeming Love General Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Carol “Tunny” Shoulders, son Larry Shoulders and son-in-law Bob Glover.

Survivors include 2 daughters Sharon Glover and Penny Winebarger both of Clay, 3 sons David “DA” Shoulders (Pat) of Henderson, Roy Shoulders and Norris “Pete” Shoulders (Glenda) both of Clay, 1 sister Sue Blackston of Henderson 1 brother Carroll Wayne Farmer (Emma) of Orange, TX, 13 grandchildren Darla Wright, Jason Shoulders, Debra Branson, Gelena Hackney, Jeremy Shoulders, Lesley Vogt, Brock Shoulders, Kayce Kern, Melissa Love, Melinda Glover, Tracey Ervin, Erik Winebarger, Derrick Winebarger, 26 great-grandchildren, some great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Redeeming Love General Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Putman officiating.  Burial to follow in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2022 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM till service time at the church.
