William Fryer Obituary

 William Thomas Fryer passed away peacefully in his home on January 23rd. Born March 11, 1933 in Clay KY, he was the son of Sam and Bessie Fryer. He was married to Dorothy Fryer (formerly Sanford) for 58 years. He worked for the USDA for 30 years before retiring to the family farm. Tom was in the army for 2 years, and lived in Shelby, Michigan for many years.

He was active in both the Shelby Wesleyan and Clay Redeeming Love General Baptist Churches.

Survivors include his children: David (Wendy) of Georgetown, KY, Nathan of Montague, MI, Paul (Mary) of Clay, KY, and six grandchildren, Stephanie, Rachel, Thomas, Jacob, Sam, and Kaitlyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold Fryer, and sister Helen Fryer.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Mike Putman officiating.  Burial to follow in New Clay cemetery.
