Dad, I just wanted to say thanks for everything. Thanks for the sacrifices you made, the memories you created, the life lessons you taught. As your Son I couldn't have asked for a better Father, I was always so proud of you and the way you could do anything you chose to do. You touched many lives all for the better. If I can be half the man you were I'll have accomplished more than most. Your presence and guidance will surely be missed. I love you Dad. Steve

Steve Marty & Brian , your dad my uncle Jerry was a good man . Loveing & caring . My life growing up would not have been the same without him & you guys . I loved his laugh & I can still hear it today . And my Mom Betty Elkins loved her brother Jerry more than life . Till we see them again . I love you all with all my heart . ❤️

Life is so short, and the bad out weighs the good by far throughout our lives,If we are lucky, I mean really LUCKY, we get the opportunity to meet someone in our life that leaves a lasting memory , the kind that you find yourself either thinking of them from time to time, or just remembering a funny story they told. Jerry was a kind and Gentle man, I really always wished I could roll with the punches like he could, Jerry, We will miss you , But you'll never be forgotten. PS. save us a seat at the table with the lord, and we'll order an extra plate at captain D's for you,,

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father, Marty. It sounds like he has many good friends and a strong family that will miss him. I lost my mom less than 2 months ago, as well.
